Forum on Ecohydrology and Climate Change
The 17th CAS -TWAS-WMO Forum on Ecohydrology and Climate Change will be held in Beijing, China, on 17-19 September 2018. Top international scholars will share knowledge and the latest data on the importance of preserving the hydrological cycle – the physical movement and exchange of water above and below Earth's surface.
The deadline for online registration is 1 July.
Bringing together physicists, biologists, chemists, engineers and social scientists, the forum offers a unique chance to analyze and debate the basic mechanisms that sustain climate-soil and water-vegetation coupling systems. Topics to explore include observations and measurements on global ecohydrology, modeling and monitoring of water cycles, and protection of ecosystem dynamics.
Under the auspices of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the event is locally organized by the CAS-TWAS Center of Excellence for Climate and Environment Sciences (ICCES) and the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, CAS (IAP-CAS), and sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), TWAS and the Institute of Atmospheric Physics.
